Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for the post of Research Associate in Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), New Delhi Major Research Project entitled “A Study of Agro-Based Grassroots Innovations in India” for two years.

Posts: Research Associate in ICSSR Research Project 2017

Educational Qualification: Candidates to be considered for the appointment as Research Associate must have a Master’s degree in any social science or management discipline with a minimum of 55% marks for the general category and 50% in case of SC/ST/PH or MPhil in any social science discipline. Preference will be given to UGC – NET qualified candidates or the candidates with at least two years of research experience in the relevant field.

Emoluments: R16000/-(Consolidated) (as sanctioned by the funding agency)

Project Duration: Two years; Appointment purely on temporary basis

 Terms and conditions

1. The salary given is fixed and consolidated as sanctioned by the funding agency.

2. The selected candidate will be appointed purely on temporary basis initially for a period of one year.

3. Appointment may be extended depending on the satisfactory work performance as assessed by the project head or till the validity of the project, or whichever is earliest.

4. The selected candidate will directly report to the Principal Investigator regarding his/her work progress and project related matters.

5. The services will be required 5 days a week as per the University rules and also on the weekends, if deemed necessary.

6. In addition to the regular work, the selected candidate will have to perform other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the PI related to the project.

7. No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview. No other allowances are payable
