• Posts Name & Other Details : 

  • Librarian

    • Qualification : (i) Master’s degree in Library Science / Information Science / Documentation with at least 55% of the marks or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC Seven point scale and consistently good academic record. (ii). At least thirteen years’ as a Deputy Librarian in a University Library or eighteen years’ experience as a college librarian. (iii). Evidence of innovative library service and organization of published work. Desirable. M.Phil / Ph.D. degree in Library Science / Information Science / Documentation / Archives and Manuscript keeping. (Note : However, the minimum requirement of 55% should not be insisted upon for the existing incumbent who are already in the University system. The minimum requirement in such case shall be at least 50% marks of Master’s degree level.) iv 10 years experience of library administration in a reputed library and in supervisory capacity.

  • Director of Physical Education & Youth Welfare

    • Qualification : ( i) A Ph.D. in Physical Education. (ii) Experience of at least ten years as University Deputy or fifteen years as University Assistant DPEs/College (selection grade). (iii). Participation in at least two nation al/international seminars/conferences. iv Consistently good appraisal reports. v. Evidence of organizing competitions and conducting coaching camps of at least two weeks’ duration. (vi). Evidence of having produced good performance teams/athletes for competitions like state/national/inter-university/combined university, etc.

  • Controller of Examination

    • Qualification : A. Master’s Degree with at least 55% of the marks or its equivalent grade of ‘B’ in the UGC seven point scale along with. B. Five Years of administrative experience as Assistant Registrar or in an equivalent Post. OR Comparable experience in research establishment and / or other institution of higher education. C. Essential experience of the University examination system.

  • Assistant Librarian

    • Qualification : (i). A Master’s Degree in Library Science / Information Science / Documentation Science or an equivalent professional degree with at least 55% marks ( or and equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) and a consistently good academic record with knowledge of computerization of library. (ii). Qualifying in the national level test conducted for the purpose by the UGC or any other agency approved by the UGC. (iii). However, candidates, who are, or have been awarded Ph.D. degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D. Degree), Regulations 2009, shall be exempted form the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET for the recruitment and appointment.

Application Fess : A D.D. in favour of Registrar, Hemchandrachraya North Gujarat Universty, Patan of Rs.1000/- (Rs.500/- in the case of SC/ST) for the form fee shall have to be sent along with filled  form.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on an interview.
